In 2004, Crosby Corporation began supporting United Services Automobile Association (USAA). Today Crosby still provides financial, information technology, mortgage and banking expertise to USAA. Our consultants have supported a variety of areas including IT Infrastructure Services, Full Lifecycle Development, Full Loan File Review, Due Diligence and Compliance Review, Quality Control Services and Loss Mitigation. In 2008, Crosby supported USAA's Fraud and Credit Risk teams with Certified ACAMS Consultants with Subject Matter Expertise in AML, Fraud, BSA, KYC and Chargeback. Additionally, our teams work on First Mortgage Conventional, VA, Texas Vet, FHA, Purchase Money Second and Convenience Line of Credit Loans. Accomplishments:

A corporate client was in a decentralized governance over financial limits and controls. They experienced increased financial fraud and money laundering risks. There was inconsistent compliance with Patriot Act regarding "know your customer." The Crosby Consulting team with six-sigma expertise deployed to the Center of Excellence (COE) for fraud mitigation concerning financial products. The Lead Business Architect and the Execution Architect met with business teams determining the scope of problem that centered around identifying risks and controls. The Execution Architect applied data to determine high-risk areas. Findings were limited risk and controls on financial transactions. Analysis offered decentralized patterns, which directed Crosby to develop a COE process to control financial fraud.
